Ally is a Master’s graduate with over four years of experience in planning, implementing, and communicating results from complex research projects. During her graduate studies, Ally lived and traveled through the Canadian Arctic. She worked collaboratively with Indigenous communities in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut on research projects that focused on tourism ethics and expectations for visitor behaviour, northern shipping corridors, and self-determined economic development. As a researcher, Ally has been passionate about working with communities to identify relevant research objectives and methodologies to ensure that research is respectful, ethical, and relevant.

Ally was first introduced to program evaluation as a Teaching Assistant in her Master’s. She is excited to apply her participatory qualitative research experience and project management skills to program evaluation with the Cathexis Consulting team.
