Martha announced as the President of the CES

Martha McGuire, Senior Consultant, founder and head of Cathexis Consulting, became President of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) on July 1st, 2010 for a two-year stint. The Society is the professional body for evaluators in Canada, dedicated to the advancement of evaluation theory and practice.  It has 11 regional chapters and over 1,900 members across Canada. On accession, Martha described herself as someone with a strong commitment to promoting and improving evaluation in Canada and around the world. She previously served on the Ontario Chapter Board for nine years, with one term as President and two years as the representative on National Council. She has been a presenter for the CES Essential Skills Series and is an educator, mentor and champion for excellence in evaluation.
