The purpose of the evaluation was to help government and institutions identify best practices in college-university collaboration, and help guide policy and planning for future collaborative activity. Specifically, the report was intended to:
- provide information to the post-secondary sector and government about the successes of the programs and barriers that have been encountered in building and delivering the collaborative programs;
- provide an opportunity for college and university partners to share best practices and lessons learned, to inform and improve future collaborations, regardless of program area; and
- identify best practices, including models of collaborative work and program governance models.
