Cathexis is heading to the 2026 CES National Conference!

We’re excited to share that the Cathexis team will be heading to the 2026 Canadian Evaluation Society National Conference in May!

This year, four of our team members will be presenting on topics drawn from our recent work: exploring what it really takes to build effective evaluator-foundation partnerships, how to design data collection that’s truly inclusive of Autistic and neurodivergent participants, and a candid panel on what evaluation consultants actually want to see in a RFP. Whether you’re a seasoned evaluator or just starting out, we’d love to see you there.

Here’s a quick look at the three presentations:

Evaluation as Partnership: How Evaluators and Foundations Can Collaborate to Tell Fulsome Impact Stories Presented by Isabella Romano and Jacquelyn Quirk on Monday May 25th at 11am

  • A behind-the-scenes look at how Cathexis and the Sinneave Family Foundation worked together to make sense of complex data across two national employment programs for Autistic and divergent young adults. Includes lessons on trust, co-design, and what it really takes to turn data into meaningful impact stories.

RFP Wi$h Li$t: Evaluation Consultants Read Between the Lines Presented by Liz Martin, Kate Powadiuk, and Doaa Abou Hussein (Kindred Purpose Consulting) with special guests on Tuesday May 26th at 4pm

  • Ever wondered what evaluation consultants are really thinking when they read your RFP? This panel is your chance to find out, and whether you write RFPs or respond to them, you’re guaranteed to walk away with something useful.

Making evaluation accessible: Promising practices for neuro-inclusive data collection and reporting Presented by Isabella Romano and Jacquelyn Quirk on Wednesday May 27 at 8:30am

  • Practical strategies for designing data collection and evaluation processes that are genuinely inclusive of Autistic and neurodivergent participants, drawn from real evaluation work with the Sinneave Family Foundation.

If any of these sessions spark questions or conversation, we’d love to hear from you. Reach out at info@cathexisconsulting.ca or find us at the conference. Can’t wait to see you there!
