The kids are back in school, pumpkin products are back in the shops, and we’re beginning to see the first streaks of orange and yellow in the trees outside our Merton St. office. Where has the summer gone???
It’s been a busy few months for the Cathexis team, but every now and again we took off our evaluator caps, slathered on the sunscreen and took advantage of those warm summer days.
Here’s a peek at how we spent our summer holidays:
Our summer ended with a road trip, the first one we’ve taken since Pickles joined the family. Pickles loved being chauffered around, was a star everywhere we went, but was not a fan of the ocean. For the record, the puppy did not actually do the driving! – Adina
It was a craft-acular summer and I indulged my inner Martha Stewart with some good old fashioned jam-making. Does anything beat homemade jam? I don’t think so. – Kate
After exploring the parks of Ontario and day-tripping around Toronto for most of the summer, we ended the summer holidays with a trip to the west coast, where my son made friends with the biggest slug EVER. – Melissa
These are my boys, making their way down the “rabids” of the Oxtongue River. We spent five days camping in Algonquin Park, and it was a little piece of heaven in the middle of a super busy summer. – Rochelle
I missed all of last summer in Toronto, so decided that Summer 2014 would be the year of the staycation. The days involved good food, great company and putting on my clown shoes and heading to the local bowling lane. STRIKE! – Stephanie
A crazy weekend spent moving house was followed up with a trip to Sauble Beach with my sweetheart, which was the perfect way to relax and restore. Who needs Mexico when we’ve got the Bruce Peninsula?…Okay, maybe ask me again in December. – Yasser
