CEO Announcement

Cathexis Consulting is pleased to announce the appointment of Rochelle Zorzi as Chief Executive Officer, based in Toronto. Rochelle will provide leadership and direction while still being active in the core work of the company.

Rochelle has broad and extensive experience in evaluation. Over the past 15 years, Rochelle has been involved in over 75 applied research and evaluation projects and has come to be recognized as one of Canada’s foremost evaluation experts. Rochelle gained international recognition and exposure for her work in developing a core body of knowledge for evaluation with the Canadian Evaluation Society.

Prior to joining Cathexis in 2003, Rochelle spent three years as an evaluation and research consultant for the Peel District School Board (PDSB). Rochelle’s particular interests lie in evaluating the value of evaluation, knowledge mobilization with evaluation and lifelong learning. She can be reached by email at rochelle@cathexisconsulting.ca.

The Board and the company as a whole also extend thanks to Martha McGuire for her work as Chief Executive Officer at Cathexis over the past ten years. Martha’s work at Cathexis and her time spent as President of the Canadian Evaluation Society have been vital in increasing the profile of evaluation and applied social research in Canada and abroad. Martha will now be serving as Cathexis’ Senior Marketing Officer.  Both appointments are effective immediately.
