Denise has an innate curiosity and enjoys digging into data to understand the why and the how.
Denise has extensive experience leading transformative change in large and complex organizations. Her career has spanned many sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, retail, seniors housing and healthcare, where she has worked on corporate strategy, operations, marketing, sales and human resources.
In addition to her degree in Sociology from McMaster University, Denise holds certifications in project management, human resources, change management and human-centred design, which lend a unique perspective to evaluation and the development of processes for sustaining social change initiatives.
Outside of Cathexis, Denise is usually off exploring ponds with her nephews, asking them why they need to catch frogs, grasshoppers and worms (and how she can avoid holding these critters!)
