Melissa is a partner with Cathexis and has been with the firm since 2003. She is a skilled Credentialed Evaluator (recognized by the Canadian Evaluation Society) with 20 years of evaluation experience. She has carried out well over 200 evaluation projects in a variety of program areas, including health, education, knowledge translation and community investment. She has contributed extensively to the evaluation field, regularly presenting on new and innovative evaluation approaches and mentoring emerging evaluators.
Her background in law is unique among evaluators and of great value to the Cathexis team, as it not only provides deft understanding of legislation and its application, as well as policy development and analysis, but it also provides a knowledgeable resource on matters relating to confidentiality and privacy protection.
Melissa is known and respected for her collaborative client-focused approach, ensuring that all Cathexis evaluations are designed to meet client needs and produce information that supports evidence-based decision making, positive change and improvement.
Melissa is an adventure seeker. When not working, she might be on a remote backcountry camping trip or travelling the world, finding hills to climb, and new foods to taste.
