Rae Roebuck

Rae’s career focus has been on issues related to individuals with disabilities. Her early clinical work as an Occupational Therapist with adults with developmental disabilities and children with physical and developmental disabilities prepared her for her work first, as a Program Director in a Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS) transfer payment agency and later as a policy director in MCSS where she was responsible for strategic policy in the children’s and developmental services sectors. Over the last 15+ years, her consulting services in both provincial and municipal governments and broader public sector organizations have been valued for her extensive expertise in social policy, program design, implementation, and review as well as strategic planning. Rae has a unique and in-depth understanding of the transfer payment sectors in health and social services from both a systems design and operational perspective. She has worked extensively with partners from both sectors on cross-sectoral strategies for both children and adults with complex special needs.
