Views from the East Coast

Four staff members from Cathexis travelled East this past May to take part in the annual conference of the Canadian Evaluation Society in Halifax. While there, we met up with our resident Nova Scotian associate, Scott Christian, and caught up with some of our other associates and colleagues from across the country. Apart from the conference, our team took some time to wander around Halifax and surrounds — taking in the excitement of downtown Halifax during the final game of the Memorial Cup, climbing up to the top of the Citadel, and flitting out to Peggy’s Cove for an afternoon. Some of us indulged in fresh fish and seafood, saltwater taffy, and local brews — and we ALL appreciated the warm East Coast hospitality in spite of the typically chilly/wet weather!
